Originally from Toronto, I moved across Canada to attend The University of British Columbia where I graduated with a Bachelor of Finance.
After graduation, I completed my CELTA degree so that I could work abroad and teach English as a Second Language (ESL). I spent 5 years teaching in Busan, South Korea, and it was there that I found my passion for teaching.
I started my tutoring business in South Korea and then continued to teach while living in Thailand and a few years later, Brazil. During my time abroad, I met several British Council IELTS examiners and professors who taught me everything they knew regarding the exam material and what examiners are looking for.
After receiving extensive training for IELTS, I connected with my Alma Mater, UBC, and learned all I could about CELPIP with the goal of helping students prepare for that exam.
Now I live in Toronto, Canada and run my classes online or in-person (depending on your location).
